Happy New Year everyone! I have returned from my vacation in Beaver Falls, PA and Greenville, SC and now time to get back to blogging! It was fun to hear from people in blog places who enjoy What is it Wednesday blog post. So without anymore delay, below you will find an image that I took that is interesting to me, but yet to some it might not be recognizable. Can you figure out what it is?

For Caroline & Dave’s wedding on October 24th, I had two great photographers working with me Katrina and Kate. This picture below Katrina took of Kate and I while working. Top to are of me and bottom is of Kate. It is strange to see pictures of myself taking pictures, reminds me there is a much bigger picture to each picture and that is why it is important to not photograph a wedding alone. These ladies helped document Caroline and Dave’s wedding so well and together we worked as a team to be sure to document every aspect possible. Thanks to Katrina and Kate for helping Bobbi Jo Brooks Photography help capture this wedding.

East Atlanta Village: Family Portrait Session Reid, Kim, Ellen, and Alice

Reid, Kim, Emma and Alice deserve an award for yesterdays portrait session for dealing with the rain yesterday. There was a 80% chance of rain but we still wanted to attempt the portrait session so we went for it.

We left their house, no rain, drop like .07 of a mile and got out of the car and well the rain drops started and kept coming! I was disappointed for many reasons as you can image.

The rain continued, we spent time hanging out under umbrellas, store fronts and then Joe’s coffee shop hoping for the rain to leave. Reid checked his iPhone and saw a clearing was coming so we waited and praise be to the Lord it did stop long enough for us to get some great shots in! It was a great shoot in the end and I have to give Ellen a huge thanks for being such a great subject yesterday! Thanks Tara for all your help (Tara flew in from NYC to shadow me for the day)

Expressions 3 was an exciting exhibition of painting, photography, dance, sculpture, pottery, drama, poetry, music, film, and much more. All the work was by done by members of ChristChurch Atlanta. Expressions 3 opened on October 4, but the work will remain up for the coming weeks, so if you haven’t seen it, please come on by to the Genema Gallery. I promise you will not be disappointed!
