Today was my 30th Birthday! What a wonderful day it has been, kinda sad it is over. I am actually excited about my 30′s, even seems to think I should be freaking out about it, but I did that a long time ago, but now I am so excited about my 30′s! Today was such a wonderful day, starting with breakfast with my coworkers and it continued on from there! The day was full of work meetings then a relaxing time with friends. I received messages from all over the world, my cubical at my full time job was decorated, I talked with my family and then the evening was perfect. Dinner with a few girl friends at Cafe Istanbul (amazing) then back to the Wilton Hilton for an amazing cake and photo booth fun (posted on facebook)!
I am grateful to the Lord for blessing me with 30th wonderful years and I look forward to many more. I am also grateful for my parents, friends and coworkers who have richly blessed me throughout the day!
One of the highlights of my day was the cake my roommate Elizabeth got me – a cake that looks exactly like my first digital SLR – The Nikon d70! (I now have a d300)…it was life like. It was from Highlands Bakery here in Atlanta and I was so excited I even had a few tears of joy.
